the reigning NJCAA Div. II National Player of the
Year was the first Pioneer to be selected. The Giants
selected him with their 13th round selection. Perez was
the second Junior College player selected by the Giants
and was the 36th overall Junior College selection in
this year's draft. Perez has yet to sign with the
Giants. August 15th is the last day that players may
sign with the organization that drafted them so it is
yet to be seen whether Pioneer fans will get another
look at Perez wearing the green and white. |
