50/50 Community Fundraiser
The Holyoke Blue Sox Baseball Organization is offering a great Community Fundraising opportunity for the 2010 season. The team will make tickets available for designated 2010 home games to your organization at a reduced price, 50%, and your organization can keep the proceeds for up to the face value of the ticket. This is the ownership’s small way of giving back to the community, schools, & organizations within Western Massachusetts.
The goal is threefold; in tough economic times, we are aiming to keep prices affordable for kids and families, while sharing the love of baseball and community. Second, more families will be able to attend the games, enjoy the pride of community, and get some good summer fun in. Thirdly, it will allow your organization to make profits for important projects that may no longer be funded.
How it works: Your group, company, team, league, organization or school will get a “major league experience at a minor league price,” watching tomorrow’s stars chase their dreams today.
- Your group secures a home date in either June or July (except Opening day)
- Blue Sox Tickets cost $6. We will make the tickets available to your organization at $3. For your fund raiser, your company/school/group/team would pre-sell Sox’s tickets for your designated night.
Example: You pre-sell the ticket at face value of $6, your organization makes a profit of $3 for each number of tickets sold. You sell 1000 tickets at $6, your organization makes $3000 profit.
What Does “Community Night” include for my group/league/company?
- Commit to 500 + tickets and our players will host a rally/meet & greet at your organization
- Top 5 sellers for your organization will be recognized & called on field for opening ceremonies
- Top seller will throw out 1st pitch
- PA announcements throughout game
- Kids go out with starting positional players for Anthem
- Kids run the bases after the game
- Pictures & Autographs Session before & after game
