Join us, the Holyoke Blue Sox players and coaches of the New England Collegiate Baseball League for intense and informative instruction lead by Blue Sox Head Coach Darryl Morhardt.  Assisting will be our Holyoke Blue Sox athletes, who come from the top college programs in the country, many drafted into Major League Baseball.  These teams include the Red Sox, White Sox, Brewers, Nationals, Braves, Blue Jays, Tigers, Angels and Mariners. If you want your athlete to bond, see positive work habits, and gain insight into how to balance baseball with academics with tomorrow’s stars, this is the place!

Clinics are focused on players 6-18 years’ old. Placed into small groups, players will be taken through a variety of critical drills to help teach and review the proper fundamentals of baseball. Areas that will be covered will include throwing, fielding, hitting, pitching, base-running, catching, and live game action. The Holyoke Blue Sox Players will provide insight into innovative hitting techniques that are used by today’s major league players. The day ends with scrimmage games to reinforce what is being taught and providing an opportunity for the kids to put their skills to work!

Week 3 (Sec. 53 CRN 25312) – Monday July 18th - Thursday July 21st
Week 4 – (Sec. 54 CRN 25313) – Monday July 25th – Thursday July 28th
 

Time: 9:00am-12:00pm

Cost: $135/wk. (Make Checks or Money Order payable to “HCC – Blue Sox Clinic”) Credit cards accepted.

Camp Location: Holyoke Community College

General Information: Each player should be dressed in appropriate baseball clothing and bring his or her own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, cleats/spikes, or sneakers, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Players are welcome to bring their own bat. Catchers must bring their own gear. Clinic includes: Holyoke Blue Sox t-shirt and 2 tickets to a Holyoke Blue Sox Baseball game.
